Clear the clutter

Where did all this stuff come from???

We recently moved back to the great state of Arkansas after living in Missouri for a couple of years. In our journey back we lived with my parents for six long and lovely months. Before we moved, I did what I could to keep from having to store all our thing by selling a bunch of useless junk. Yeah, we ended up with a huge storage building stuffed to the max.

It wasn't until we moved back into our house (that's another story) did I realize how much of what we had in storage was just useless junk! Wait a minute...I thought I sold all this junk?! Funny how six months will change perspective.

My hatred for clutter is a recent one. It wasn't until we had our first child did I realize the stress it was causing me. I do everything in my power now to keep it out of my house!

So, how do I keep all this stuff at bay? Well, my friends, this blog series will hopeful shed some light on my journey. That is just what it is, a journey. Don't set unrealistic expectations. Set some goals and stick to them. Also, decide right now if you want to become a minimalist and how far do you want to go? The first few posts should help you in determining just that.

First start off by reading how I set some standards for my new lifestyle. Rules must be put in place first. Or let's call them more like guidelines...
